What are you believing?

Last year, toward the end, I posted about my word for this year:

Believe

Believe the truth about who we are in Him. I think we ALL deal with this. We are bombarded with social media images where filters and people posting only the very best, make us think we don’t measure up.

Yet, who we are on the outside isn’t who we are. Every day we are reminded these bodies will not last forever. We get older – ugh, I feel it, do you? – and we age. We were not created to live in these bodies forever. We will be given new bodies when we get heaven. Thank you, Jesus!

So, why do we spend so much time trying to fix the outside instead of the inside? In believing we are not enough on the outside, and forgetting who we are in God?

I will continue to break this down more as we continue into the new year because for me to believe, I have to believe all of God‘s truth and not part of it. Which means believing in who I am in Him, trusting He will provide, and He is faithful to fulfill His promises.

Who do you believe you are today? Are you believing the truth of who you are in Jesus?
