What He’s Done

Praising God

“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms.” Psalm 95:2

This song that I’m linking here – What He’s Done, talks about what Jesus did for us, which is dying so that we can live eternally and covering our sins.

I also see it as a reminder of what God has done in my life, and that no matter what, my future is heaven. I can praise God my future is heaven no matter what is happening here on earth.

As I do this, I remember all God has done in my life on this earth and praise Him for it.

He did not have to do any of this, and yet He chose to. He chose to save me from physical death at least four times and from the harm I tried to inflict on myself. He kept me here to fulfill the desires I didn’t know I had, and blessed me beyond measure.

He guides me moment by moment and provides me strength to begin to heal and process trauma and beat anxiety and depression. (This is still a day-to-day process with His strength.)

He is allowing me to work and do what I have a passion for and love, which is teaching children that struggle.

He is beginning to provide friends to become my new family.

And yet even if He did not do any of the above things, His wounds give me life because He made the ultimate sacrifice despite the fact I did not deserve it. So, I can praise God for what He’s done. He did not have to bless me, but He loves me so much He delights in it.

He is worthy to receive my worship just in the fact He died for me, but I can add worship for all the amazing things He does in my life and will continue to do.

Even when I am down, sick, and struggling, I can praise Him knowing He will get me through. If not here on earth, then in heaven forever and ever!

I praise God for all He’s done. It’s my prayer you can too, and know His amazing love and freedom He died to provide -just for you. He would’ve done it even if you were the only one He did it for. He loves you that much. He desires for you to heal and become whole and holy.

Blessings to you my friends, and prayers for continued healing and that you too can praise God for all He’s done.
