As I was reading in my Bible, I came across these words Paul wrote to the church in Colosse. I felt like they were significant to share with you.
This is my hope for you. My prayer. That God will fill you with the knowledge of His will, and you will be able to bear fruit for His Kingdom through your struggles. To do this you will need endurance and patience, as he mentions at the end of the prayer.
I pray you are able to come to a place of healing to share what God has done for you in this life, and if you’re not there yet, that you can trust God will get you there. This is a marathon not a sprint. Just take it one step at a time.
“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you.
We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,
so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,
being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience.” Colossians 1:9-11
