Happy New Year

Heading into 2021

Wow, can you believe this year is finally over? I am thankful it is behind us for many reasons. Though, I will admit, I don’t think much will change in the upcoming year as far as wearing masks and “social distancing”. (Don’t you hate that term! It’s so unfriendly!)

However, you are probably more aware than most how to navigate difficult times due to your history of trauma. It’s very likely for you that this year was not much different than most as you know the struggles of complex PTSD, depression and anxiety well. Maybe, as with me you were productive in therapy this year and finally feel like you’re making headway in your healing.

Wherever you are, just know that you are not alone. God is still with you. He wants you to get better. It doesn’t mean life will be all roses, as we are not promised an easy or happy life. We are promised to have the One with us that can help us through the most horrific struggles.

So, as we head into yet another year, I pray you are taking some time for yourself this holiday season and allowing yourself a few treats and of course, that you are making headway in your healing process.

Father God,

Bless each one that reads this and be with them in the coming year. Provide them with opportunities to share their story, heal, and live in the abundance you call us to in this life. Thank you for each one of them.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Happy New Year, my friends,

Susan
