We Win In the End

Our hope lies in Jesus.

If I allow myself to stop and think about what I’m going through, and have been through, and just focus on that I get hopeless. It has taken me many years to realize a vision for recovery.

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

I know I’ve already shared that with you, but it is so incredibly important it deserves repeating. This life is not all there is, it is just a stop on a forever journey. If you know Jesus, then death is not the end, but the beginning of eternity.

Along with that, as we can read in Revelation, Jesus overcomes this world full of sin. He ultimately wins. Which means if we know Him, we win.

So, as you continue on your journey today, remember that your hope lies in Jesus and that evil doesn’t win. We win in the end. As you remember, listen to this song by Natalie Grant. It’s a shoe stomping, clapping, song, that reminds us all about the ultimate outcome. Remember your hope today!

In The End by: Natalie Grant

“Can’t catch a break
You’ve had your fill of old cliches
Like ‘life is hard, but God is good’

But even though it’s true
It won’t stop what you’re goin’ through
I wish that I could say it would

That he’s outside of what you feel
It might not make sense
But one day it will

There’s comin’ a day the sun will always shine
He’s gonna wipe away every tear from your eyes.
Hold on, my brother
Things are gonna get better
You’re gonna smile again
‘Cause we win in the end

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

You’re standing still
Life has handed you a bitter pill
Once again you’re on your face

You’ve got questions
Plenty of secret confessions
Wonderin’ if you’ve run out of grace

But he’s outside of what you feel
This life is just a moment
But our forever is sealed
Oh yeah

There’s comin’ a day the sun will always shine
He’s gonna wipe away every tear from your eyes.
Hold on, my brother
Things are gonna get better
You’re gonna smile again
‘Cause we win in the end

It won’t be about
Streets of Gold, Pearly Gates
Harps or wings, Diamond Lakes
All I know is that He’s gonna hold you, hold me

Heartache will disappear
Questions will become clear
Life will all make sense
In the end

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

We win in the end

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh yeah
There’s comin a day the sun will always shine
He’s gonna wipe away every tear from your eyes
Hold on my brother
Things are gonna get better
You’re gonna smile again
‘Cause we win in the end

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

We win in the end

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh yeah

Glorly Glory Hallelujah
Glorly Glory Hallelujah
Glorly Glory Hallelujah
We win in the end

Oh yeah

Glorly Glory Hallelujah
Glorly Glory Hallelujah
Glorly Glory Hallelujah
We win in the end

We win in the end”
